About Semons & Semons
The law firm of Semons & Semons was opened in 1966 by attorney William Semons and his law partner in Columbus, Ohio. Tad Semons joined the firm in 1998 and continued the practice after the original founders retired. The practice is currently limited to consumer bankruptcy cases for individuals and small businesses. Tad’s focus is on individual service to his clients and he strives to make what may be seen as a frightening and difficult experience as simple and stress‐free as possible.
Tad has over 15 years of experience in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts in the Northern and Southern Districts of Ohio. As a former social worker, he believes that client service is of paramount importance and that his most important role is to interpret the law and the experience of filing bankruptcy effectively to potential clients and to guide clients through the process from beginning to end. Initial consultations are free of charge and Saturday morning appointments are available as well as during regular business hours Monday through Friday. He is a member of the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus BarAssociation and the Creditor Education Coalition.
When he isn’t working Tad can be found spending time with his two grown children and his boxers, or woodworking and reading books that everyone else thinks are boring. He also likes to work on his old house and is a Subaru fanatic.
